When are masterclasses scheduled?
Classes will begin in June 2025. The masterclass series is slated to last six weeks. Initial classes will be held on the weekends with additional class times offered in the evenings. In the Fall, classes will be scheduled in the early evening and weekend. We will offer additional masterclasses throughout Summer and Fall in advance of the application deadlines.
What happens if I miss a class?
Each class will be recorded and distributed to the class for future reference.
What is covered in the masterclass?
This masterclass will cover the University of California and California State University applications. It will help students brainstorm, outline, and draft the four UC personal insight questions and activity descriptions. It will empower students to pick strategic majors for the UC and CSU campuses to boost their odds of admission. We will also briefly cover scholarship resources and other college options to empower students to make the most of their journey to college and career.
How many students will be in the masterclass?
Each class is capped at 25 students to ensure each student can receive personalized feedback in the classes and have the opportunity to ask the instructor questions.
Who is the masterclass appropriate for?
This class is appropriate for any student who is eager to make the most persuasive case for admission possible for their UC and CSU applications. We will ask students to do work in between meetings and come prepared to make the most of each masterclass.
Can I receive individual feedback on my essays?
Yes, enrolled students can receive offline edits from an essay specialist for their four UC PIQ responses or their UC activity descriptions. Each round of offline edits costs $75. Multiple offline edit rounds can be purchased.
Can I refer a friend?
Yes, please instruct your friend to list you as a referral so you can earn one round of free edits per referral.
